What days does the Corvallis-Amtrak Connector operate?

The Corvallis-Amtrak Connector operates Thursday – Monday and most holidays.

Why does the bus not run on Tuesday or Wednesday?

Amtrak and ODOT did extensive research to determine which five days needed the service the most. It was determined that Thursday – Monday and holidays had the most need for this bus service.

Which holidays does the bus operate on?

New Year’s Eve and Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Weekend, and Christmas Eve and Day.

How much does it cost to ride?

Rides are $5 each way. You may buy 5- and 10-packs of tickets at a discount. Tickets may be purchased online or on the bus. Online sales will be mailed to you and may take several days.

Is there a round-trip option?

Is there a special fare for seniors or students?

No, all fares are the same cost.

Do I need to make a reservation?

There is no reservation system in place. Rides are on a first-come-first-served basis, though we have never had to turn anyone away. If you’re travelling in a large group, please give our office a call at (541) 752-2615 during regular business hours so we can make arrangements for the extra passengers.

Can I pay using a credit card?

Yes! You may pay with a credit or debit card on the bus or online. Ticket sales from our website will be mailed to you and may take several days to arrive. If you need tickets right away, you may purchase them on the bus. Card sales are safe and secure and are processed through PayPal. There is no fee for this service.

Can you drop me off/pick me up at my house?

Unfortunately, no. This is a fixed-route service.

My train is going to be late, can you wait?

Our first four runs will leave on time and the next bus can pick you up. On the last run, if the train is running late, we can stay for a short time.

Which bus do I need to take to catch my train?

At the bottom of the schedule page, there is a chart that details which runs coincide with which trains and buses.

Where is the bus shelter located for the stops?

Jefferson/14th: At the Linn-Benton Loop bus stop on the northeast corner.
Downtown Transit Center: At the Coast-to-Valley and 99 Express bus stop on Monroe closest to the railroad tracks.
Riverfront Marriott: In front of the hotel on 1st St.
Holiday Inn Express: In front of the hotel doors.
Circle/Four Acres Place: The CTS bus shelter on south side of Circle just east of Four Acres Place.
Amtrak Station: This is the same bus shelter as the Coast-to-Valley shelter.

Can I bring my bike?

Yes! Our bus has a two-position bike rack on the front. Please remove all loose items from your bike as Benton County is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
